1st March is the first day of Spring!

We had a lovely surprise today! Mila told us all about "Baba Marta" a traditional Bulgarian holiday. We learnt that Bulgarians celebrate the centuries old tradition "Baba Marta" by exchanging "martentis" (red and white bracelets) on 1st March. The tradition of giving these bracelets brings health, happiness and good luck during the year and is a reminder that spring is near. Mila gave us all a beautiful "martentis", thank-you so much Mila (and Mummy and Daddy too!) We enjoyed learning all about Baba Marta and we love our bracelets, thank-you x x x x
